Running through the woods, dodging limbs, trunks, and fallen logs. All to get away from him. Suddenly, you crouch and roll to a stop underneath an overhang of a stone slab, with a curtain of slowly dying plant life to keep hidden by. Steadying your breathing, you cover your mouth to keep quiet, and listen for something, anything that might give away your position, or warn you of anything coming. Once your breathing was under control, you slowly pull out your phone to check that all sounds were off, which was still on silent from when you turned it down earlier, and watch the screen out of the corner of your eye for any static erupting onto the screen.
A hand suddenly covers your mouth, silently startling you. Turning around the best you could, you huff and take the hand off of your mouth and whisper annoyed, "Did you have to startle me like that, Hoodie?"
The said man shrugged in response, and asked quietly, "Who and how this time?"
Grinning, you respond, "Slenderman; Stuffed his office with balloons."
"You're psycho, and doomed..." Hoodie sighed.
Let me elaborate. You prank people in the mansion, of course trying your best from taking it too far, and your latest target was Slenderman. You ran once everything was set up, and were currently hiding in your secret base, where apparently Hoodie was hanging out in when you showed up.
"And you decided to be my best friend, so I don't see why you're complaining." You retorted, as you peeked out and scanned the area quickly, before retreating back into the secret cave. Hoodie just stayed quiet and sat against the back of the cave, whittling a stick into a sharp point.
After a few hours of just sitting there, watching, waiting, you finally move out of the cavern cautiously, scanning for any possible sighting of Slenderman. Once you were fully out, you stand and help Hoodie out and up.
"I think it's safe now..." you muttered. "Let's head back to the mansion now." Turning around to head back to the mansion, you suddenly freeze as you run into a suit. A tall, thin, suit. And in that tall, thin, suit, was an angry Slenderman.
'Eh..hehe...he..?" You laughed nervously, as Hoodie patted your back twice and took off running.
"Such a great best friend, Hoodie!" you hollered after him.
